We are 25 Years Old

Lift Disability Network is celebrating a remarkable milestone – 25 years of making a positive impact on the lives of families and individuals with disabilities. This anniversary marks a quarter-century of transformative work, inspiration, and support that has touched countless hearts and uplifted an entire community.

Founded in 1998 by Jim and Rhonette Hukill, with a simple idea to offer families encouragement, and compassion, Lift Disability Network has been a beacon of hope for individuals with disabilities and their families. Over the past 25 years, the organization has tirelessly worked towards breaking down barriers, fostering a sense of belonging, and creating opportunities of inspiration and growth.

As we celebrate this momentous occasion, we want to reflect on the countless success stories, lives touched, and the lasting impact that many incredible individuals have woven into the fabric of Lift Disability Network. The organization’s 25th anniversary is a testament to the power of a faithful God, the vision of its founders, and the dedicated efforts of staff, families, volunteers, and supporters. Below, you’ll find the stories of just a few of the countless people we’ve had the privilege to meet along this inspiring journey.

Here’s to 25 years of making a difference! We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have walked this journey with us. May we continue to celebrate many more milestones in the years to come!

You have made my life better by acting as a much needed pressure valve. I'm spiritually and mentally refreshed!

Elevate is such a great program. My brother loves the routine of the day - social hour, bible stories, exercise, crafting and the list goes on. It allows him the social setting to build friendships in a safe and non-judgemental atmosphere. He is looking forward to the start of fall term. Thank you for the tremendous effort spent to provide such a 'space' for individuals with life challenges
