New Program Starting... January 2023!
Elevate Adult Day Program provides opportunities for individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities to develop relationships, social and life skills, and community interactions. We serve adults aged 18+ who are able to provide basic self-care and want to learn skills that would allow them to move toward independence.
Elevate will be a safe, fun, encouraging atmosphere that motivates participants to reach their full potential and attain higher satisfaction with life.
What We Offer
Provides participants with opportunities to develop confidence, skills to lead a more independent life, and new interests.
Each participant will have an Individualized Training Plan, which will be drawn up in collaboration with the participant, caregiver, and Lead staff.
Activities and programs provide participants with opportunities to develop confidence, skills to lead a more independent life, and new interests. By sharing feelings and ideas, participants will learn to create goals for themselves and work towards fulfilling those goals in creative and fun ways.
Elevate will take weekly field trips to the grocery store for hands-on learning as we plan, shop for, and prepare a group meal.
The group will rotate to a different type of business each week and learn skills on-site that are relevant to that type of work.
