Florida Administrative Assistant

Cassie is responsible for assisting with communications, helping maintain our media presence, organizing and coordinating our medical closet, and providing overall administrative support to the FL office.
Cassie joins the organization with a Bachelors of Social Work and is currently working towards her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. Cassie first developed a passion for working with persons affected by disability while interning at the Florida Department of Health’s Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Program as a case worker. Since then, she has gained experience within the human service field through working for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, and spending a gap year receiving  training and experience in overseas missions with Youth With A Mission (YWAM).  Cassie is thrilled to offer her administrative skills and passion for human services to Lift and join in the organization’s mission to help LIFT LIFE for people and their families living with disability.

Within minutes of getting out of the car a feeling of normalcy came over our family. As though we had been there for years.

Like a stone thrown into a pond, sometimes it seems God sends a ripple of blessings which begins with our saying “Yes.”  That happened to my husband and me when were asked if we would like to volunteer at Breakaway Camp. It was such a rewarding and joyful week!

There's a community created at Lift where you can enter at any level you want. All are accepted and welcomed. It's rewarding to be part of a ministry where everyone has something to offer.
